London Based Voice Artist
Originally from the island of Tasmania I’m now London based. My native accent is a warm but subtle variation of my native Australian. However, having worked and trained in the UK I’m also often booked for projects that require an authentic British RP.

Voice work includes Audiobooks, Voicing Video Games, Commercials, Commentating Live Events, Corporate projects and I have also voiced various characters in the Dark Shadows and Dr Who Radio Series as well as other Radio Dramas for Audible.

I didn’t remember the book had so many funny moments until I listened to the audiobook and some small details and inflections caught my attention. I also have to praise Brigid Lohrey for the merriment she was able to transmit in Elizabeth’s voice, she captured her teasing manner perfectly.

Audiobooks
I like Brigid because she tells the same story I am telling, but she tells it better. She has excellent comedic timing and can make you cry when she needs to. We have done three books together so far, and she is always professional and flexible. Each character has a distinct voice and is consistent throughout the recording. I couldn’t recommend her more!

This was my first time listening to narrator Brigid Lohrey and I thought she wielded a great talent to handle such a large cast of characters of gender, age, and class distinction even some regional dialect changes were evident. She put emotion and pacing to good use. I definitely want more of her work.
