Recent Work & Experience
I have just wrapped filming on a major HBO series, an exciting project that will be coming out early 2026.
In 2023, Hope Street Season 2 premiered on BBC iPlayer, where I had the pleasure of playing the guest role of Cathy Doyle in Episode 2.
This Christmas (2025), I’ll be stepping into the role of the Wicked Stepmother in Cinderella at Welwyn Garden City Campus West Theatre, bringing a delightful touch of villainy to the stage!
Other recent work includes:
- Curry’s Beyond Techspectations Stuck in the Past – I play a Curry’s Colleague who has a bit of a transformation
- The Stroke Association Campaign – portraying a compassionate nurse
- BabyThump – the award winning short film where I play the hapless Dr Hooffenhoffer
- Shelter’s Hidden Barriers Project – bringing humor as a rude, grumpy Bus Driver
- Samuel – an award winning short film where I play a Mother who continues to put her foot in it.
- Channel 4’s Climate Change Promo – stepping into the shoes of a dancing Member of Parliament

Training & Expertise
I trained professionally at The Academy Drama School, London, and hold an Associate Diploma from LAMDA. In 2014, I was honoured to be appointed to the Board of Examiners for LAMDA, where I continue to assess Performance and Communication exams internationally.
“The actress’s lethal, crystalline tones give her a politician’s edge in quickfire passages, though she becomes mesmerising in her softer, confessional speeches, holding audience interest with an emotionally-charged stillness.”

“Gremio (Brigid Lohrey) who is master of facial and bodily comedy, enacting so many contortions as to leave the audience in stitches. She evokes the visceral humor of the kind seen in The Good Life’s Margo Leadbetter or Keeping Up Appearances’ Hyacinth Bouquet. ”
The Taming of the Shrew Review upcoming.com
Here are some of my recent on-screen roles.
Curry‘s Advert Beyond Techspectations Stuck in the Past – where I play a Curry’s Colleague who transforms into a Viking Queen to help her customers. Another hilarious advert from Curry’s and I’m delighted to be involved.
The Visit is a heartfelt campaign by The Stroke Association, raising awareness about stroke recovery and support. I play the Nurse, helping bring authenticity to this powerful message.
Hidden Barriers is a thought-provoking campaign by Shelter, shedding light on the unseen obstacles people face when trying to secure housing. In this project, I play a grumpy, rude Bus Driver, highlighting the everyday challenges that can make access to stable housing even harder.
Samuel, directed by Jack Haynes, is an award-winning short film inspired by his brother’s struggles. It portrays one man’s fight to leave his flat, while his mother—whom I play—is unable to cope with his mental health challenges.
In 2022, I filmed an Argos Ident for Coronation Street, bringing a touch of character to this well-known TV sponsorship spot.
In 2021, I voiced Angela, the sultry-sounding spokesperson in Brut’s No Messing About campaign, starring Vinnie Jones. But Angela’s polished, seductive voice isn’t quite what it seems—adding a fun twist to the advert’s no-nonsense attitude.
Star of the show is Brigid Lohrey as the matriarchal Countess. She and her sidekick, the fey Peter (Simon Money) make a great double act: Her almost Victoria Wood-like musings contrast wonderfully with her physical, highly expressive comedy.”
