Coaching

I’m delighted to be working with Vocademy in 2026 to offer one-to-one Performance Coaching

I’ve struggled with characterisation whilst performing for a long time. I have that instant embarrassment. Even amongst friends. But the processes Brigid put me through just made me want to wholeheartedly and shamelessly embody the character I’m performing. The exercises she goes through with you puts enough emphasis on you making the call rather than being told HOW to play it, which naturally builds the confidence more. I’ve practiced everyday since and have even applied the confidence to another song, another character. I couldn’t recommend lessons with her highly enough. Thank you Brigid

One‑to‑One Performance Coaching

Bring your performance to life with bespoke, artist‑focused coaching designed to help you connect deeply with your material and step onstage with confidence. Whether you’re preparing for a competition, concert, showcase, audition, or gig, these sessions give you the space, guidance, and tools to elevate your performance and make it truly your own.

Together, we’ll uncover the character, emotion, and story within your song. I’ll guide you through targeted exercises designed to deepen your connection to the material, strengthen your stage presence, and enhance the overall impact of your performance.

A 60‑minute session allows us to work in detail on one song, while a 90‑minute session gives us time to explore two. Ultimately, the structure is flexible as every session is shaped around what you want to achieve.

I am very pleased with the results of meeting with Brigid Lohrey recently for stage craft coaching (March 2026). She has altered my approach to how I think about preparing for a song. I have included her coaching into my practice sessions and even my singing tutor commented on the improvements she has seen already. I am sure that each students will get something different from her training but I would definitely recommend her to anyone who takes their singing seriously.
