“It’s a Privilege to Pee” from Urinetown is a brilliantly over-the-top, comedic musical theatre number. With its bold satirical edge, high-energy delivery, and dramatic flair, it’s the kind of song that lets a performer fully embrace character and storytelling.
This song really resonated with me—full of strength and emotion, it’s a joy to sing. Here’s a clip from my performance of “Kilimanjaro” from Calendar Girls, delivering its heartfelt, honest emotion.
