Voice Actor
Originally from the island of Tasmania, I am now based in Kent, bringing a rich blend of Australian warmth and British finesse to my voice-over work. My native accent is a subtle, approachable Australian, ideal for projects requiring a natural, engaging tone. However, with 25 years of training and experience in the UK, I am often booked for roles demanding an authentic British RP, offering clarity and versatility. More recently I have also used an American accent professionally.

Voicing the Lavazza Tierra Coffee campaign with an upbeat, inviting tone that reflects the brand’s passion and warmth.
Voicing the Westholme Brand film with depth and grandeur, that embodies the strength, heritage, and legacy of the brand.
Narrating How to Engage in Cyber Policy, the first of fifteen modules in this comprehensive series—bringing clarity and insight to a complex and evolving landscape.
I didn’t remember the book had so many funny moments until I listened to the audiobook and some small details and inflections caught my attention. I also have to praise Brigid Lohrey for the merriment she was able to transmit in Elizabeth’s voice, she captured her teasing manner perfectly.

From Love to Suspense – Audiobooks That Connect
I like Brigid because she tells the same story I am telling, but she tells it better. She has excellent comedic timing and can make you cry when she needs to. We have done three books together so far, and she is always professional and flexible. Each character has a distinct voice and is consistent throughout the recording. I couldn’t recommend her more!
ELIZABETH ADAMS, AUTHOR

This was my first time listening to narrator Brigid Lohrey and I thought she wielded a great talent to handle such a large cast of characters of gender, age, and class distinction even some regional dialect changes were evident. She put emotion and pacing to good use. I definitely want more of her work.
